Welcome!
St. Bede’s Episcopal Church
50 Years of mission and ministry
Honoring our Past, Celebrating our Present, and Planning for the Future
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim a year of Jubilee.” (NRSV Luke 4:18-19)
St. Bede’s is a sacred place and we are a community of believers and seekers. It is sacred because it is a place where we believe God and the human pilgrimage meet. It is a welcoming community because we believe this is characteristic of the God we serve as followers of Christ. We believe Jesus the Christ to be the incarnation of God’s love – the God who is reconciling and offering hospitality to the whole world.
The rhythms of our worship are from the early church and from contemporary sources. Our principal services on Sunday are Holy Communion also known as Holy Eucharist, the Mass, and the Lord’s Supper. Please join us for our worship services and tour this web-site for descriptions of the ministries offered by our parish. Welcome!
