Laura A. Bryant has been on the staff
of St. Bede's for six years. As Associate Rector, she
shares the leadership of and participates in a wide range of ministries
and responsibilities. In her six years at St. Bede's, Laura has
been instrumental in establishing several new commitments for ministry.
In addition to her care for our Christian Education programs for
children, she is a member of the Youth Committee and has enabled
St. Bede's to participate in the Journey to Adulthood Education
Ministry which has proven to be so valuable and enriching for
our young members. Last year, our youth returned from a pilgrimage
to the Black Hills of South Dakota. This year, they are
preparing for a pilgrimage to England, and more specifically, the
places of Bede's journey. They will make
their pilgrimage this coming summer. Laura has recently begun the
Godly Play Sunday school curriculum for children.
Laura is active in the areas of ministry that reach out to visitors
and new members. She has established a ministry of care and support
to our congregation, entitled Share the Care. Additionally, she
and other leaders have inaugurated the Stephen Ministry, a
program for ministering to members of the parish and others. If
