Anita Montelione has been a member of St Bede’s for 30 years. Before retiring she served as a product and project manager for AT&T and managed clinical research for Emory’s School of Medicine. Over the years she has served St Bede’s in various capacities: Sunday school teacher, Bede counter, discernment committee, lay reader, and currently a member of the Altar Guild and coordinates the Path to Shine program. She has served as a team leader in the Vocare movement and had been active in the Cursillo movement in the Diocese of Atlanta. She is a math tutor and mentor for Dekalb County International School for the past seven years and this past year served on a team with Global Volunteers in St Lucia working with elementary school children. She is the mother of two adult daughters that have grown up at St Bede's as their church home. She is excited to serve on the vestry and be part of the planning for the growth and development of St Bede’s.
