I was born in Accra, Ghana, baptized at the Holy Trinity Anglican Cathedral, Accra and confirmed an Anglican at Adisadel College, Cape Coast, Ghana. My parents were instrumental in my Christian formation at an early age. My mother, a Roman Catholic taught me to pray the rosary at age five. I especially love to pray the Holy Rosary daily. My thirst for an intimate union with the Lord led me to Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament where I found joy, peace and deep spiritual renewal, a practice that leads me to intercede for reconciliation and healing in communities. My life has been shaped by family and many priests who continue to provide inspiration and direction.
I earned my first degree (MSc. Pharm) at Kharkov State University, worked with the Ghana Health Service for about 10 years and moved to the US, where I gained my MPH, MPA and PhD concentrating in Epidemiology and Chronic Disease Prevention at Georgia State University. I am currently a Clinical Associate Professor in the department of Population Health Sciences at GSU.
My spiritual journey has brought together faith, education, professional service, pastoral formation, and a growing love for the Lord to be found in Scripture, Worship and the Eucharist. I am currently a Postulant in the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta, pursuing my MDiv at Candler School of Theology with expected graduation Fall 2026, and called to serve and continue my formation at St. Bede’s Episcopal Church.
As I continue this journey, I am increasingly attentive to the ways God calls me and transforms me with His gifts in service to the Church and the wider community. My desire is to live a life grounded in Christ, nourished by the Eucharist, formed by Scripture, and expressed through compassionate pastoral presence. My outlook on life is one dedicated to serving the Lord, teaching the love of the Lord and love of neighbor and a community exemplified by union of true love, the fear of the Lord and peace.
