Shane has been a member of St. Bede's for five years now, although having arrived just prior to the pandemic, you may have only gotten to know him over the past several years. In that time, he has served as Lector, Eucharistic Minister, and Crucifer. He has spent his whole life in the Episcopal Church and is especially grateful for his eight years spent with the Education for Ministry (EfM) program. Shane was previously a member of All Saints’ Episcopal Church, Atlanta, where, among other ministries, he served on the the committee for Carmie McDonald’s discernment for the priesthood. He is employed as a Technical Lead Software Engineer with Cox Automotive and is somehow nearing his twentieth year there. Shane is blessed to be married to Julia and lives in Tucker with their two black kitties, Willow and Salem. He is excited to serve St. Bede's in whatever capacity he is able.
